If you are caring for a family member, whether it be a spouse, child, aging parent, sibling or other, I am here to support you in carving out time for your own mental health. I can help navigate the unique challenges of folks in the “sandwich generation.”
-
Adjustment to new phases of life can bring about specific challenges, including retirement, physical health, grief/loss, and shifting roles in the family. I support many older adults in navigating these changes with improved perspective and healthy coping.
-
Providing therapy to individuals with I/DD requires knowledge and understanding of the needs of this population. I love to support individuals who need clear, direct communication and a patient, understanding presence. I can help build skills, practice assertive communication and teach healthy coping strategies.
-
With a background in geriatrics, medical social work, hospital discharge planning, case management and providing direct services in assisted/independent living facilities, I am uniquely qualified to serve adults in a later phase of life.
